STARTcentrum och Impact Hub i Liepāja (Lettland) erbjuder nu dig som ung mellan 18 och 25 år att möjligheten att kostnadsfritt delta i programmet "Your Future Profession".
Programmet pågår från november 2024 till april 2025, med ett avslutande evenemang i november 2025 i Liepāja och är en ypperlig möjlighet för dig som vill utforska, undersöka och ta nästa steg i din karriär. Kanske som grundare av ett nytt företag eller som anställd?

Under YFP kommer du som deltagare att få möjlighet att arbeta med karriärvägledare och mentorer, utforska dina framtida yrkesval eller dina potentiella affärsidéer, samt reflektera över vem du är som person. Du som deltagarna får även hjälp med att förbättra din affärsidé genom coachning eller ditt CV samt möjlighet till 3 st internship hos företag och entreprenörer
Dessutom adderar du ett internationellt perspektiv i ditt liv och karriär då programmet genomförs tillsammans med unga människor från Lettland. Totalt finns 20 platser och ansökningar antas löpande.

Rådgivning och coachning
Programmet inleds med att du lär känna dig själv bättre, med hjälp av en karriärvägledare/coach. Genom samtal och tester/övningar får du reflektera kring dina styrkor, intressen, drivkrafter, värderingar och framtidsvisioner.

Som en del av programmet får du en unikmöjlighet till tre internship där du får besöka ochtesta olika företag eller entreprenörer. För demsom väljer startup-spåret fokuseraspraktikplatserna på att följa entreprenörer.

Löpande coachning/mentorskap medSTARTcentrum för att hjälpa dig nå dina målbaserat på en gemensamt uppsatt plan.Coachningen kan fokusera både på dig som personoch din eventuella affärsidé.

27-28/11 – Resa till Lettland för avslutning tillsammans med samtliga 80 deltagare.
Programmet är gratis för dig som deltagare och är framförallt för dig som bor i Region Örebro, Västmanland, Södermanland, Östergötland, Uppland, Stockholm eller Gävleborg

The AIM
“Central Baltic Region youth trying different professions”, or in short, “Your future profession” project aims to address the employment challenges faced by young people aged 18-25, focusing on improving their ability to overcome failures and fostering entrepreneurship, leadership skills, self-realization, and personal development. The Project is about increasing the employability and entrepreneurial capabilities of young individuals. By supporting informal education activities during the project, the goal is to back the transition from education to employment. By doing so, the project enhances the competitiveness and personal development of young people taking a part in it.
The project PROCESS
“Your Future profession” will consist of two six month cycles, in which a total of 80 unique participants will participate. The first cycle of the project will start on November 1st with an ONLINE kick-off event, where participants will get to know the project’s programme and leadership team, as well as be inspired by the speakers and guests of the event. During the first month of the project, the participants will work individually with career counselors and take various career and personality tests in order to define their interests, strenghts and potential career paths.
From December to April, the participants will have the opportunity to visit various companies in so called “Strike Practices”, work individually with mentors, and once a month participate in online events and joint workshops about various professional and personal growth topics. In the last month of the project, the most active participants will have the opportunity to go on an international internship exchange.The first cycle of the project will be concluded in April 2025, but the main kick-out event will take place at the end of the second cycle of the project on November 27th and 28th, 2025 in person, in Liepaja (Latvia), during which all 80 participants from both project cycles will gather to network, gain additional knowledge, experience, and motivation to move forward towards their career goals.
